Optiva Media becomes an EIDR member

Several changes are shaking the content and media industry landscape so we are joining the movement to develop and offer the best metadata solutions

The technological landscape is constantly modifying and improving as each day passes, consequently, the professional audiovisual supply chain is changing too. As new challenges and business opportunities come up with this trend, we are always ready to join boosting initiatives and make ourselves more competitive in the digital TV field.

We are happy to share with you all that we´ve recently become a member of the Entertainment Identifier Registry Association (EIDR).

The Entertainment Identifier Registry Association, is a not-for-profit industry association that was founded by MovieLabs, CableLabs, Comcast and TiVo to meet a crucial need across the entertainment supply chain for universal identifiers for a broad array of audiovisual objects.

This collaboration will bring us the possibility to minimize the risk of misidentification and, using their unique EIDR ID, we will improve the ability to match assets and metadata from different data sets, service providers, or metadata suppliers.
